SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK.
ARNETTE HOUSE LONG TERM GOALS:
• To continually expand and improve our continuum of care
• To offer services based on community need
• To increase public awareness of available services in the community
• To increase community participation in prevention programs
• To make the community a safer place to live
TREATMENT APPROACHES
Services are provided by caring, dedicated, and non-judgmental professionals who focus on the strengths of the family while providing reality-based skills and knowledge. Our Master’s level counselors utilize Reality, Humanistic, and Behavioral therapy with the entire family to end conflict, improve communication, and reunite children with their families. If reunification is not possible then children are provided skills in order to become independent and self-sufficient.
DESIRED OUTCOMES FOR OUR FAMILIES
• Increased self-reliance and coping skills
• A stronger concern and caring for others
• The ability to manage behavior with its natural and logical consequences
ARNETTE HOUSE OFFERS THE COMMUNITY

ARNETTE HOUSE WORKS! We have worked with troubled children and their families since 1981. Arnette House is the only service of its kind in Marion and Lake Counties. We measure our success by keeping families intact, and by reducing the demand on the juvenile justice and child welfare systems. We provide service to hundreds of children in the shelter and counsel over a thousand children per year.
OUR FOCUS IS ON PREVENTION AND SUPPORTING CHILDREN AND FAMILIES BY “REACHING OUT TO HELP….TIL THE STORM IS OVER”
